Help the mission of the MSB :
We are grateful to all who support The Maryland State Boychoir through our Annual Fund campaign. By giving to The Maryland State Boychoir, you are investing in the artistic and character development of future community leaders.
- Trained music professionals instruct choristers year-round in vocal technique, choral singing, and music theory.
- In addition to this training, the Boychoir offers leadership roles and training for members through regular rehearsals, performances, and tours.
- Through performances, tours, camps and festivals, choristers refine and develop musical skills, build camaraderie, and learn to become independent.
- Evidence of the effect of The Maryland State Boychoir program can be seen by the many alums who have gone on to positions of service within the community.
None of this could be achieved without the generous support of our many donors. Givers to the Annual Fund are acknowledged in our annual Viewbook that is published each December.
If you could make a contribution to help The Maryland State Boychoir for such a purpose as the purchase of uniforms and choir robes, choir camp expenses, tours, music scores, scholarship funding, renovation of our Arts Center, salaries, the publication of our newsletter, etc., we would be most appreciative. Please click on the “Donate Now” box above to make a donation to the MSB online through Razoo. You may also send your donation directly to the Boychoir offices at:

The MSB Capital Campaign:
Treasuring Our Past – Believing in Our Future
Capital Campaign for the Renovations of The Maryland State Boychoir Center for the Arts
Donations to The Maryland State Boychoir’s capital campaign are an investment in the great 1,500 year tradition of boychoirs, as well as a statement of your support for arts in our own community. Please join us as a visionary in our project. In that role, see the lives of countless young boys who will pass through our new home – eager youngsters – ready to do great things through singing. Yes, we have the power to change the future of these boys. Won’t you help? Please consider joining us as we Treasure the Past and Believe in the Future.
The project for which the Boychoir is requesting funds, capital support for the renovation and administration of The Maryland State Boychoir Center for the Arts, goes far beyond creating a permanent home for Maryland’s premiere boychoir. Establishing this venerable building as a home for arts from throughout the State of Maryland, the MSB envisions a place where arts organizations can find a welcoming and affordable venue for rehearsing and performing. The MSB has also committed itself to the community in which it will reside through the continuation of a pre-school program and day care center on the campus as well as a center usable for community functions.
For more information on this project, please download our current Capital Campaign brochure or contact the Boychoir office.
All contributions made to The Maryland State Boychoir are tax-deductible. The incorporated organization is exempt from both federal and state taxes because of its purpose.
The Maryland State Boychoir is supported in part by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council (an agency funded by the State of Maryland), The Citizens of Baltimore County, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
