The Maryland State Boychoir Summer Series proudly serves as Baltimore’s premier outlet for weekly classical music events throughout the summer months.
Compline (Choral Evening Prayer)
Alumnus and friends of the Maryland State Boychoir gather on Wednesday afternoons to learn new music for Compline services. These services are presented at 8:00 PM, and are preceded by an organ prelude. All are invited to join us for a wine and cake reception held on the Garden Patio.
Silent Movie
Enjoy a silent movie with live theater organ accompaniment. The MSB will provide popcorn!
Sunday Evening Concerts
Throughout the summer, MSB will also be hosting local musicians and artists at 6:00 PM on Sundays. Check out our flyer for dates – all concerts are free of charge and open to the public.
Summer Sing
Each summer a choir of amateur singers gather with conductor Stephen Holmes and soloists to rehearse one of the great choral masterworks. They spend one Sunday afternoon in preparation for a 7:30PM concert and reception that evening.
